Do... you know why people are getting nightmares? Or how to make them go away?

Um... sorry, I know I don't know you all very well, but... I was wondering if any of you knew anything about the nightmares people keep having. About what might be doing it, or anything.

I'm afraid I don't know at the moment... I haven't experienced any myself, but I'm not actually in the city at the moment. Which does mean, whatever is going on, it's confined to within the city.

Really? Well... I guess that's good.

Be better if there was an easy way out of the city, but that's rather difficult right now, between the snow and a certain mayor trying to make things more difficult.

Yea... [sigh] It's hard to even get out and look for the things with the snow. Even if it is nice...

Yeah, I suppose I am. From the sounds of things, I wouldn't want to close my eyes for even a few minutes in there...

Don't know where else you'd expect me to be, since that's where the TARDIS still is. Been working more on the scanners, well, trying to anyways...

My TARDIS is buried under all this snow. Maybe it's a good thing I ended up having to stay with Yuna for a bit. But good for you! Any progress?

Well, nothing much yet. Still not coming up with anything substantial.

There's got to be something. Blimey, I hate feeling useless.

Now I'm starting to think there's more going on than just nightmares.

What do you mean, the TARDIS is a woman? The TARDIS is... a TARDIS.

Besides the snow that's buried my TARDIS somewhere?

Yeah! And she's a woman! She seems to be ahead of me, though. And she entered the city not too long ago. We spoke over the message boards and everything.

...You're trying to tell me the TARDIS--OUR TARDIS, is a walking, breathing, woman?

[happy squeaky voice is go] Yes!

But. How is that even possible?

[Guess what, Ten? MORE GLEE] I have no idea!

I only have a hunch that it's magical, not scientific. Not only is it apparently confined to the city itself, too many of us are having it happen at the same time. There are no coincidences in this place. And since no one's reported any needle jabbing them in the arm...

Do you know of anything magical that could give people nightmares?

It all depends on who's doing it. As far as I know, the Organization doesn't have this ability...if they did, they surely would have used it before now. Someone in this city has to be doing it, but there's too many with the ability to narrow it down. At least...with what information we currently have.

[Xion doesn't think the Organization is doing this either, so hearing that from Urd is nice.]

Why would someone even want to give everyone nightmares?

[she pauses for a moment] ...I don't know. Nightmares have a deep connection to our hearts -- our fears and insecurities, past memories we'd like to forget. Maybe someone wants to see what sort of darkness keeps us up at night.

[she doesn't like the sound of that.]

I don't think I know anyone who could and would do that. [would, certainly, but she really doesn't think the organization has that power.]

And I know too many who would. Now's the time to stay close to your friends, Xion. Stick by the people you care about and no nightmare will be a match for your collected strength.

[something about what Urd says there strikes a chord with Xion, and kind of reminds her of something...

Will that really work?

Against the forces of darkness? Of course. There is no better or brighter weapon.

[she thinks about this, before smiling a little.] Alright. Thank you, Urd.

... Kinda strange how they all started coming on at once like that, huh?

It can't be a coincidence... right?

Hard to say. Maybe it's got something to do with the weather.

Because it's snowing? What would that have to do with it?

Might be... I don't know, some sort of glitch in the matrix, maybe.

Would a glitch people able to get into our heads?

[yes, 'our.' if you didn't guess before, Axel, Xion's been getting these nightmares too.]

Not sure. Definitely seems like something's up, but -- I haven't heard anything about it. Maybe Saïx knows something... ( i heard you were a fan of his... )

[you can talk to him, biffle, but xion's not going anywhere near the guy.] I guess I'll just keep looking.

I've got no idea, but I'm planning on having a look round the city again, see if there's anything I missed. But with all this snow, it's been difficult to get anywhere.

I know. [even with dark corridors getting places is hard] Is snow supposed to go on this long?

Sometimes, it depends on the climate. But this place has a regulated climate. I'm not so sure this whole blizzard thing has been an error now, what with the recent ban on leaving the city. Convenient timing, maybe.

Do you think the mayor could do this?

Not the mayor, no. It's obvious he's a puppet of some sort; what we want is whoever's pulling the strings.

But who could be doing that and causing these?

An excellent question! I honestly have no idea, but my guess is that the new law in place is using the snow and the warning to not go outside as a cover-up for whatever it is they're really doing. Because really - who tells someone they want them off their lawn and then tries to punish the other people for leaving said lawn? It doesn't make any sense!

[Xion doesn't really get the lawn analogy, but decides there are more important things to focus on.] Whatever they're really doing?

Right! And whatever they're doing has something with either keeping us in the city, or trying to lure us into leaving the city so they can do whatever probably sinister thing they're planning on doing. I don't know, but some of it might just have to do with why we're trapped here in the first place.

What about the nightmares?

I've got a few theories. It might be something to make sure we don't get any sleep, thereby making us more likely to make mistakes. It might be an attempt to get inside our heads. It might even be a prank. Who knows?

So we don't have a way of knowing how to stop it?

Not unless we figure out who's doing it, I think. And knowing why would help.

Yea. I wish will could figure that out.
